Venus Activation New Year Embodiment Ritual

 

As we come to a close of a momentous year, so too comes the end of a Venus in Wanderland era. The last couple of years, bringing an astrological twist to Yoni Wanderland have been transformative for us. In 2022, the blog took on a more literal and proactive take on following the Venusian path of Goddess Venus moving through the astrological sky.

 

With planetary tracking of the Goddess, came the downloads to bring Venusian and astrological embodiment rituals to you, the reader, as an integral part of Venus in Wanderland: the Yoni Activation Embodiment Rituals.

These mini rituals formed a part of every blog post, aligning to the astrological energies of the moment and with Venus' current position of the time. The rituals began to unfurl and blossom, giving way for the next chapter of this blog. Venus in Wanderland may be complete, but that doesn't mean that Yoni Wanderland feature blog is!

 

Beginning in January 2023, Eros in Wanderland comes to you, centered around expanding on these yoni activation and embodiment rituals for you to practice at home. Instead of focusing mostly on astrological currents and Venusian transits, the 2023 shift of what will become Eros in Wanderland  focuses on going deeper into understanding and activating eros in your body, heart, mind and spirit.

 

We want you to receive the most value out of your time, energy, and money spent at Yoni Wanderland. Upon review of the core of our brand, our values, and our mission, we believe that Eros in Wanderland is the necessary embodied shift for this blog to transition to.

 

With that said…

If you tuned in for the astrological downloads, fret not, as I will still be me, transmitting these downloads, and you cannot separate me from my love language, that of the stars. So while there will undoubtedly be astrological infusions throughout Eros in Wanderland, growing a deeper relationship with your pleasure center and embodied magic will be the primary focus.

 

We are excited for this next chapter and hope that you'll continue tagging along for the ride :)

 

Now, to close off Venus in Wanderland properly, let's take a look at how Venus will be wrapping up 2022 and go over some Venusian highlights of 2023…

 

Venus ends the year in a similar fashion to how she began it and in the same sign too: Capricorn. This time last year, December 2021, Venus went into retrograde in Capricorn and stayed retrograde until the tail end of January 2022. During this time, she illuminated all the ways we relate to ourselves and others that don't serve our foundation. Shaky relational grounds were the focal point to witness to show us how we can grow as people.

 

She also brought a need for destruction to organizational structures that weren't contributing to beauty. It brought forth this desire to use our feminine qualities to provide support and discipline.

 

A full year later, her transit through Capricorn now brings forth those same lessons through a different lens. She asks, "Have you made the changes in your relational dynamics required for you to build a stronger, more beautiful version of yourself?"

 

It's the perfect time to reflect on the themes in your relationships that were showing up this time last year and at the onset of this year. The medicine of your evolution lies in choosing new patterns and relationship dynamics. If you're stuck in the same misaligned pattern you haven’t yet released, you're being shown now once again what, or who, gets to be released.

 

On December 29th, Mercury stationed retrograde in Capricorn conjunct Venus. And we've also been experiencing Mars retrograde in Gemini. Because of all this poignant retrograde revisionary energy, we are not starting 2023 with the most obvious clarity. With Mars asking us to slow our communicative roll and take other ways of doing things into consideration, to make the most of our new year we get to embark on a deep reflective journey…

 

In the summer of 2023, Venus will once again go on her 40-day initiatory retrograde cycle, this time in the sign of Leo. Expect big shifts happening in how you relate to your ego and your soul desires for expression. With a solid foundation to jump off of this year, the levels of self-love possible for you next year may surprise you.

 

So with that, I'll leave you with the following points of reflection and journal prompts for you to sit with, revisit, and get clear on, so that you can make the most of your 2023.

 

 

 

In your sacred space, with your phone on airplane mode, grab your journal, take a few deep centering breaths, and invoke your Higher Self as you reflect and journal on the following questions meant to prompt you into deeper states of realizations, clarity, and direction for the new year:

 

• How have my relationships shifted in 2022? Have I lost friends/partners/family members? Have I gained any?
• How were my relational foundations tested this year?
• Have my relationships deepened this year? If so, how? What does a "deepening" in a relationship mean to me? Is it important to me? Why or why not?
• What lessons have I learned about how I relate to others? What lesson have I learned about how I relate with myself?
• What were my biggest relational obstacles/hurdles of 2022?
• What relational dynamics are you leaving behind in 2022? Which ones are you cultivating in 2023?
• What is your relationship to your yoni? Do you talk to her? Do you make love to her? Honor her? Ask her what her needs/desires/wants are?
